3 Reasons Why Tea is Better Than Coffee BUT…

First things first, let’s clear the air.

When it comes to tea vs coffee, there are all sorts of pros and cons for both sides, and a lot of it just has to do with personal preference. There are reasons that coffee is better than tea, too, but this article isn’t about those. If you’re wondering why tea is better than coffee, here’s a handful of compelling reasons.

The reason it’s worth comparing from time to time is becasue some of the downsides of drinking coffee are enough to make coffee drinkers consider switching over to tea, so if you’re on the fence, here’s some food for thought.

3) It’s Better for Oral Health… BUT

One of the downsides of coffee is that it can stain your teeth, however that also applies to certain types of tea.

None the less, other types of tea like white or green are believed to be better for maintaining your pearly whites, compared to coffee. Not only because they stain less, but because of the belief that it can help prevent cavities, and help with gum health, among other things.

BUT some believe that black tea is actually worse than coffee when it comes to tooth discoloration, because of the heightened presence of tannins in the black tea.

2) Tea Might Help You In The Gym… BUT

If you’re a mouse, then there’s a study that suggests that green tea extract can help to improve your endurance. So, the next time you’re at the little mouse gym, considering giving that a go. (Study)

BUT that doesn’t necessarily mean that drinking tea is going to turn you into the next professional bodybuilder. Some people do enjoy tea before a workout for the calmness it gives them, along with a little boost from the caffeine, but we’ll hold off until that study is done on humans before getting too excited.
