Starbucks is well known for it’s specialty seasonal drinks. These drinks come out during different times of the year to much appreciation and hype. Here are the list of those that are worth waiting for:
8) Starbucks Eggnog Latte
if you’re into that sort of thing. Let’s be real: Eggnog is an acquired taste. Either you love it or you don’t. And that’s okay. But if you’re on the pro-nog side, the Eggnog Latte is really great.
7) Salted Caramel Mocha
When this one came out, coffee drinkers went crazy. Sea salt has really made a comeback and is incredibly popular, so of course Starbucks made a drink to feature it. The sharp contrast between the sweetness of the drink and the salty topping is what makes this drink particularly delicious.
6) Anniversary Blend Coffee
This is not a drink, but a blend of Starbucks coffee beans. Arriving every fall, Anniversary blend is a mix of bolder coffees – including beans from Indonesia, which is what gives it that special taste. Anniversary is one of the best coffee blends available.
5) Joy Tea
Ah, the forgotten Joy tea. Every winter, Joy tea gets lost amongst all the peppermint and eggnog, but it is one of the best drinks to wait for all year long. Joy tea is a mix of black, green, and oolong teas. It is perfectly crafted and gives you just enough energy to make it through the holidays.
4) Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino
Seasonal drinks aren’t just for the holidays. Starbucks made sure to feature some beverages in the summer too. And, what summer is complete without getting hyped up on a bunch of sugar with a Caramel Ribbon Crunch frappuccino? There are so many different kinds of caramel – caramel drizzle, caramel topping, crunchy caramel flakes, and caramel syrup throughout. This is a must for any caramel lover.
3) Thanksgiving Blend Coffee
Another coffee, but I promise this one is amazing. Overshadowed by Christmas Blend, this is one of the newer Starbucks features. No, it doesn’t taste like turkey or cranberry sauce, but this coffee perfectly compliments any dessert you’ll be having after the turkey.
2) Gingerbread Latte
This is a classic Starbucks holiday drink. Alone it is delicious and tastes exactly like a gingerbread cookie. But, the real reason this drink is delicious is the versatility of the gingerbread syrup. Pump some into your coffee or even your chai and you will thank me.
And, the most highly anticipated Starbucks seasonal drink:
1) Caramel Brulee Latte
Hands down, the Caramel Brulee Latte is the best seasonal drink. This is the one that they should keep on stock all year long. This is a dessert in a cup – complete with the caramel candies on top.
And if you were waiting for me to include Peppermint Mocha, don’t be ridiculous! That is actually available all year long.
