Many people instantly think of tea to help sore throat and similar symptoms of a cold or flu. So, which types of tea are best for sore throat relief, and are there any that can actually make it worse?

They also referenced a study about echinacea (4), and have put sage and echinacea right near the top of their list of best natural remedies for a sore throat. They recommend making a spray out of it to sooth your throat.

Mint can be very refreshing,and ginger root is another popular choice as some people believe it can help kill bacteria that can be causing the sore throat in the first place.

Some people swear by lemon water, especially hot lemon water with honey in it, not to mention adding those two ingredients to a black tea, a green tea, or whatever you prefer.
