TeaTop Review – Every Tea Bag’s Best Friend!

Last Updated: August 3, 2018

Note: It appears this company’s website is offline, and we can’t find any additional information about them at this time. We will check back to their site to see if they are still around, and we wish them the best in any future endeavors!

Here is a nifty little tool for all you tea bag people out there! It’s called the Teatop, a lovely little piece of European design.

Tea Perspective was lucky enough to get our hands on a couple of these mailed straight to us from Italy.

Yes we are loose tea drinkers primarily, but its worth using a tea bag for the excuse to pull these Teatops out in front of company. They work great with our best green tea.

Quick Navigation

What it is

Teatop is a useful topper that holds the tea bag string in place while steeping and ensures a no drip, mess free tea bag once its done steeping.

This lightweight plastic top will also hold the warmth inside your cup, keeping your tea at that perfect temperature for longer (just in case you have to neglect your tea for a minute or two).

There are many colors and designs to choose from, giving your tea time a little personality. Check out all the options on Teatop’s official website

Who needs one?

Anyone who uses tea bags could use one of these Teatop’s. The simplistic brilliance of these things is fantastic, seemingly a small flimsy piece of plastic, but every curve and slit is designed just so to allow for a perfect removal of a tea bag.

A small victory for tea drinkers everywhere, no more stains left behind from old tea bags sitting around. Simply remove the tea bag, squeeze it dry and wrap the string around the top, done! An elegant little package that takes the mess out of the equation.

Bring a new level of creativity and peace of mind when you entertain guests. Show off to your friends, add a vibrant touch with elegant patterns or bright colors.

Best of all you don’t have to worry about finding tea bags soaking through your carpet or table. Check out their whole collection on their website,

A big thanks to Denise at Teatop for sending us these tea toppers! Bringing a little more civility to the ever so civil world of tea and tea drinkers alike.
