Tea Perspective (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website teaperspective.com. We are based in Australia and our site is read by visitors around the world, including the United States and the United Kingdom. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our site, how we use it, and what choices you have.

What information we collect

Contact form. If you get in touch through our contact page, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your details with anyone else.

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymous data such as which pages you visit, how long you stay, what device and browser you use, and your general location (country or city level, not your exact address). Google Analytics does not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

Log files. Like most websites, our hosting provider (SiteGround) automatically records basic information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used for security monitoring and to keep the site running smoothly.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Here is what our site uses:

Google Analytics cookies. These help us count visitors and understand how people navigate the site. They do not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Amazon affiliate cookies. We participate in the Amazon Associates programme. When you click a product link on our site that leads to Amazon, Amazon may place a cookie on your device to track that referral. We use the information described above to respond to messages you send through our contact form, understand which content is popular and improve our site, keep the site secure and functioning properly, and earn affiliate commissions through Amazon product links.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone.

We do not currently run any advertising on Tea Perspective.

All visitors. Regardless of where you are, you can control or disable cookies through your browser settings (Tea Perspective will work fine without them), opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on, and ask us to delete any information you have sent through our contact form.
